Scouts

Scouting exists to give young men and women a good start in life by introducing them to a variety of activities and interests which may become a source of strength and inspiration to them in adult life. Many of these are outdoor pursuits, but by no means all. Scouting aims to supplement the education services with extra-curricular activities designed to promote well-being and inner confidence in the ever-increasing social pressures we all live under.

8th Woking Scout Group is made up from:

  • A Beaver Colony for boys and girls aged 6-8
  • A Cub pack for boys and girls from 8-10
  • A Scout troop for boys and girls from 10-15

Anybody who fits these age groups will be very welcome to come along and join us - please contact the Group Scout Leader in the first instance: Carol McNeilage-Thomson.
